A calm, private workspace for making sense of a legal matter — in your own language, at your own pace.
Most people facing the legal system alone don't struggle with the law — they struggle with everything around it. Hundreds of documents. Knowing what matters. A deadline nobody told them about.
No forms, no legal vocabulary. Start with a sentence about what's going on — or drop in a letter you don't understand. In your own time, in your own language — Norwegian, English, Polish, Ukrainian or Arabic.
Documents, emails and recordings become one organised case: a timeline of what happened, the facts that matter, and the body of law it falls under.
A plain-language reading of where you stand, and the letter or form for your next step. Use it yourself, or hand a lawyer a case already in order.
Every document and message passes a gate you control. Personal details are replaced with labels, you review what's hidden, and only then does the analysis begin.
Behind Haakon & Haakon works a council of specialised AI roles. We gave them names from Norse mythology — not for mystique, but for clarity: each role has one task, hard boundaries, and a name that commits it to something. So you always know which part of the system did what.
Freyja
The intake
Of the Vanir — the older family of gods, closest to ordinary people. She receives first, and she is the mistress of seiðr: the craft of seeing how a thing can be framed.
Freyja is your AI case assistant and the first presence you meet. She helps you tell what happened in your own words, works out what the matter is really about, and sets your question up so the council can test it. She does not judge your case — she makes sure it is properly asked.
Heimdall
The watchman
Watchman of the gods at the Bifröst bridge. He sees further and hears more than anyone — that is his entire office.
The system's reader and finder. He retrieves what is relevant from your documents and from the legal sources, and his scouts protect your personal details before any reasoning model is allowed to read. Heimdall reads and finds; Freyja presents.
Forseti
The weigher
God of justice. In his hall Glitnir, with pillars of gold and a roof of silver, he settles disputes — no one leaves in disagreement.
Forseti weighs the sources. Statute and preparatory works are ranked by their legal weight, and every basis is placed according to what it can actually carry. He does not decide who is right — he decides what weighs most among what exists.
Tyr
The test
He placed his own hand in the wolf Fenrir's jaws as a pledge, knowing full well the price. God of oaths and honest cost: what is promised must hold.
Tyr is the test. He attacks the council's own reasoning before you see it — hunting for weaknesses, gaps and claims that cannot carry what they promise. What reaches you must have survived his grip.
Bragi
The telling
Skald of the gods. With him, what is true becomes possible to say — clearly, in the right order, without ornament that hides.
Bragi gives the answer its form. He presents what the council has found in your language and your situation, lays your options side by side without pushing you toward one, and lets what is uncertain remain visibly uncertain.
Vör
A principle, not an agent
Goddess of awareness — “nothing can be hidden from her.”
Vör is not an actor but a principle: everything the council does is witnessed and logged, from outside the work itself, unable to be halted or polished. What has happened in your case can always be accounted for.
Odin gave an eye at Mímir's well for wisdom: he knows that judgement has a price. From the high seat Hliðskjálf he sees into every world, and each day the ravens return with what they have seen. He listens to everyone — and decides himself. And even Odin seeks counsel from Mímir when it matters most.
In Haakon & Haakon, Odin is not part of the system. The council reads, weighs, tests and presents — but the high seat is the one role we never automated, and never will. Nothing leaves Haakon & Haakon without your review and consent: you approve the protection of your details, you decide what enters your case, and you decide what goes out. The council works. You decide.
The names keep the roles apart. The work is the same whatever we call them — and every decision is yours.
Haakon & Haakon prepares analysis, not judgments. Every reading is labelled as AI output, and the decisions stay yours. When you need a lawyer, you'll arrive prepared.
Human oversight by design: you author the facts, you approve what's shared, and you can see what fed every conclusion. We publish where we stand as the rules come into force — reviewed and dated. Read our compliance note.
Export the dossier, the timeline and every letter at any time. Nothing is locked in, and nothing is sold on.
Haakon & Haakon is in closed beta. Leave your email and we’ll tell you when it’s your turn — no commitment.
That's all it takes. Freyja will take it from there.
